I have had excellent eyesight without glasses since my childhood. However , I began to have problems because of presbyopia in my early 40’s. I had to stretch my arms far from my body in order to read the morning newspaper or read the menu at restaurants. My friends began joking with me by holding the menu across the table for me in order to see.
